社協去年舉辦了49個不同類型的課程、專業研討會、健康講座、華人社會工作研討會及社工學生貴州訪問團等,今年為配合社協55週年,將有更多活動陸續推出。
Introduction
In recent years, In recent years, countless individuals and organizations in Hong Kong and overseas have benefited from trainings in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a simple yet powerful system to improve effectiveness in both their daily life and professional life.
Hypnosis is essentially a collection of skills to communicate and enable changes effectively at the subconscious level.
**The following Workshops may be taken individually, but taking all 3 of them can help you progressively build a solid foundation of both knowledge and skills.
Workshop 1 : "Motivate Yourself and Others Effortlessly"
Date & Time: 22 August 2008;Postponed to 9 September (Friday) 6:30p.m.-9:30p.m.
Venue: Rm 103, Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, HKThroughout our life, we all engage in behaviours of different sorts. Some are useful while others may be less desirable. Working with motivation within the Subconscious can help your staff, clients, children, loved ones and yourselves extinguish unwanted and destructive behaviours and achieve amazing feats. You can learn these easy techniques to motivate anyone towards a positive direction.
Objectives
Actively participating in this workshop, you will understand how a person is motivated and be able to motivate yourself and others to achieve specific goals.
Content
- A brief history and introduction of Hypnosis and NLP
- NLP basics, our built-in programs, powerful motivators
- How to use powerful emotional states to motivate or demotivate yourself and others?
- How to use motivational techniques when handling suicide cases?
Workshop 2 : "How To Build or Improve Relationships Like Magic?"
Date & Time: 19 September 2008 (Friday); 6:30p.m.-9:30p.m.
Venue: Rm 103, Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, HKIf you are finding yourself being stuck in disagreements that seem to go nowhere, if your communication attempts frequently end in frustration or argument, if no one seems to be interested when you are proposing wonderful ideas, you may want to improve your skills in building relationships, or rapport, in addition to your motivational skills.
Objectives
Actively participating in this workshop, you will understand the building blocks of relationships, and be able to create, repair and promote relationships between you and your clients or significant others.

- Power of reciprocity and empathy
- How to create rapport/agreement, avoid/resolve conflicts?

Workshop 3 : "Can we Actually Change Minds and Behaviours?"
Date & Time: 03 October 2008 (Friday); 6:30p.m.-9:30p.m.
Venue: Rm 103, Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, HKWhen we make decisions, we like to think we weigh the options carefully, look at all the possibilities, and make the best choice based on rational examination of the facts. But some scientific experiments have suggested that much of our decision making happens at the subconscious level based on feelings we might not even be aware of. Arguably, every person/organization tries to influence others and is influenced by others all the time. Having a basic knowledge of influencing is essential to survival, peace, helping others, and ultimate happiness.
Objectives
Actively participating in this workshop, you will understand how you have been influenced and be able to influence using basic skills and strategies.

- Introduction to the controversial field of influencing
- What factors can change minds and behaviours?
- How to use powerful motivators to influence?
- How to use Hypnotic language and stories to influence?
- How to influence others subconsciously?

Mr. CHUI is a psychotherapist in private practice, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (ACHE), Certified Hypnotist (Hypnotist Committee, Health Professions Bureau, Indiana State Government), holder of Certificate of Professional Trainer (SCS/CUHK) and instructor of hypnosis workshops.
