Typhoon Morakot lashed Taiwan on 8 August 2009 and wrought terrific damage.  The storm produced to copious rainfall that triggered enormous mudslides and severe flooding.  Hong Kong Social Workers Association Foundation had made a donation of HK$20,000 to victims of 88 Flood Disaster for solving their urgent need.  Our President had traveled to Kaohsiung on 17 Aug and the donation was given to the Official of Social Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government by our President directly.  Also, we were trying our best to provide training and share experience with local social workers for Trauma Counseling for Disaster Victims.
