Leading by Ms. LEUNG Siu Kum, Convener of the Current Welfare Issues Committee, two working groups were established. They are, Working Group for discussing issue of Lump Sum Grant and Policy Address 2009. And the first meeting was held on 22 May and 9 June respectively.

Concerning the Policy aspect of the HKSAR Government, a meeting was held among members of Current Welfare Issues Committee. After deliberation, a study will be conducted focusing on topic of Mental Health and Drugs abuse. It aims to collect adequate information for a comprehensive analysis. After that, opinion paper will be submitted to the HKSAR Government on Policy Aspect.
